Key Domestic Economic Indicators in 2025: The real GDP grew by 8.68％. The value of export orders reached US$743.73 billion, marking a year-on-year increase of 25.97％. Total exports were valued at US$640.75 billion, reflecting a year-on-year increase of 34.92％. The industrial production index and the manufacturing industry production index increased to 112.16 and 113.12, respectively, indicating a year-on-year increase of 16.70％ and 17.87％.

As of the end of December 2025, a total of 244,584 businesses were registered in Taipei City, reflecting an increase of 2,038 businesses compared to the previous year, with a year-on-year growth rate of 0.84％. The registered capital of enterprises in Taipei City reached 15.89 trillion, which represents an increase of 3.02％ over the same period last year. The number of registered factories in Taipei City was 890, indicating an annual decrease of 0.22％.
In terms of operational performance, Taipei City had 254,385 profit-seeking enterprises, which together generated a total revenue of NT$19.41 trillion—an annual increase of 5.53％. Specifically, the tertiary sector (services) recorded total sales of NT$15.64 trillion, representing an annual growth of 4.82％.
Regarding foreign investment, approved foreign investments in Taipei City totaled US$85.16 hundred million, marking a significant annual increase of 105.16％. Additionally, the number of newly established foreign-owned companies in Taipei City declined to 177, an annual reduction of 9.23％.
