Key Domestic Economic Indicators in 2025Q3: The real GDP grew by 8.21％. The value of export orders reached US$190.69 billion, marking a year-on-year increase of 23.79％. Total exports were valued at US$169.41 billion, reflecting a year-on-year increase of 36.53％. The industrial production index and the manufacturing industry production index increased to 115.37 and 116.29, respectively, indicating a year-on-year increase of 15.90％ and 17.24％.

As of the end of September 2025, a total of 244,295 businesses were registered in Taipei City, reflecting an increase of 2,160 businesses compared to the previous year, with a year-on-year growth rate of 0.89％. The registered capital of enterprises in Taipei City reached 15.77 trillion, which represents an increase of 3.18％ over the same period last year. The number of registered factories in Taipei City was 889, indicating an annual decrease of 2.41％.

In terms of operational performance, Taipei City had 253,719 profit-seeking enterprises, which together generated a total revenue of NT$3.23 trillion—an annual increase of 4.07％. Specifically, the tertiary sector (services) recorded total sales of NT$2.58 trillion, representing an annual growth of 3.74％.
